Potter's Wheel (temporarily unavailable)

Learn to throw pottery on our "Brent B" potter's wheel. Our studio gives private lessons ($45 for 1/2 hour lesson plus one hour of practice time) or lessons in a series of four ($145 for four classes to be used within one month). Lesson prices include up to 5 pounds of clay per lesson, standard glazes, and firing.

We know you are busy, which is why you to set the class schedule. Classes are held when you say they are - we work around your schedule.

Get extra practice by renting wheel time! Wheel rental is $10/hour for students and $20/hour for non-students.

Effective December 2011 -we are suspending activities on the potter's wheel to make room in the studio for other activities.

Clay Sculpting

Make your own ceramic artwork in the shapes you want! Our basic Clay Sculpting Package includes 2 lbs of low-fire clay, two firings (the bisque firing and the glaze firing), and glazes for $35. Clay sculptures require two visits - on the first visit you mold and sculpt your object out of clay. In between visits we let the clay dry and do the bisque firing. You come back to paint your sculpture and then we do the glaze firing. Projects must be completed within 30 days - if you need more time we can hold your projects for $10/month.
